Entry Requirements for Diploma Programme
Entry Requirement for LOCAL students (NON- ENGINEERING students)
General Requirements |
Obtain a pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)/ equivalent qualification, inclusive of a credit in Bahasa Melayu and a pass in History at the SPM level. |
Specific Requirements |
Obtain a pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)/ equivalent qualifications with a minimum of THREE (3) credits (GRADE C) inclusive of Bahasa Melayu and the following subjects: l Mathematics l ONE (1) of the subjects (NOT inclusive of previously listed subjects with credits)
AND Obtained a pass (GRADE E) in English Language
OR Obtained qualification from Polytechnic/ Kolej Komuniti/ Certificate which, relevant with the Diploma programme offered by obtaining a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.00
OR Obtained Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 MQF/ Sijil Kolej Komuniti (SKK) Level 3 MQF/ Certificate which relevant with the Diploma Programme offered by obtaining a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.00
OR Passed O-Level with a minimum THREE (3) credits (GRADE C) inclusive of Mathematics and TWO (2) of other subjects
OR Any related qualifications awarded by the Malaysian Higher Education
Note: 1. Candidates for Diploma in Architecture programme need to pass a test and interview carried out by the university.
2. Candidates for Diploma in Computer Science programme with Certificate and did not credit in Mathematics at the SPM level or equivalent, can be admitted but must obtains Mathematics subject which, equivalent to the SPM level.
3. Candidates for Diploma in Quantity Surveying programme with Certificate must obtains a minimum credit (GRADE C) in Mathematics at the SPM level or equivalent for Certificate graduates.
4. Candidates for Diploma in Accounting programme with Certificate and O-Level must obtains a minimum credit (GRADE C) for Mathematics and passed (Grade E) in English Langauge at the SPM level or equivalent.
5. Candidates for Diploma in Land Surveying programme must not have colour blindness or any disabilities which may hinder practical work. |

Diploma in Accounting holders can work as an account, audit or tax assistant and management trainees. - Diploma in Technology Management
This program will produce graduates that can work as assistant administrative officer, line supervisor and assistant executive (administrative and finance). The graduate may also further their studies for a Bachelor of Technology Management or bachelor in any related field at local or foreign universities.
To fulfill the objective of this programme, the graduate should be able to:
